Purpose behind our ministry
The desire of Irmo Church of God is to be a house of prayer and worship. Welcoming individuals and family from all walks of life. To be an inspiration and encouragement to all. To show love, kindness, and direction as we follow the Word of God. To go beyond the walls of the church and take the church to the community. Reaching out to Irmo and its surrounding areas with the good news of salvation, healing and deliverance in Jesus’ name.
Our Church Ministries
Children
The goal of this ministry is to lead kids into their own close, personal knowledge of God and His word. Our Children’s Ministry Team offers Sunday School at 10am, Children’s Church at 11am and Wednesday Night Classes at 7pm.
Women's Discipleship
The Women's Discipleship meets monthly for brunch, worship and a time of fellowship. They host others events throughout the year such as Fathers Day Dinner, Church Yard Sales and Clothing Giveaways.
Young At Heart
This ministry is full of people who are 55 and older, who gather together monthly for a time of fellowship.
Missions
The church supports several missions works and even a few local missions. Currently we support mission work in Peru, Guatemala, and Israel. Along with these we support the work of LifeBridge in Newberry, SC and the Church of God, Home for Children.
