Who We Are & Our Beliefs
The Basics
We are part of the Church of God, in Cleveland, TN. We are also part of the Evangelical Pentecostal Movement.
As A Movement
The Church of God is a movement with a reach around the globe into 189 countries with more than 8 million members and 15 million constituents. Founded in 1886, it is distinctively Pentecostal with a mission to finish the Great Commission.
With Our Worship
We commit ourselves to gather regularly as the local expression of the Body of Christ to participate in Pentecostal worship that exalts God, engages the heart, mind and soul, and challenges to deeper commitment and discipleship.
We Believe
The Church of God believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God.
Church of God Mission
The mission of the Church of God is to communicate the full gospel of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19, 20) in the Spirit and power of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4, 6, (803)732-4442st A., 2006, p. 44).
Church of God Vision
Our vision arises from our understanding of what the sovereign God purposes to do for and through His church. The Great Commission remains our mandate from Christ.
Our Mission
To Be Welcoming
To be an inspiration and encouragement to all. To show love, kindness, and direction as we follow the Word of God.
Serve Others
To go beyond the walls of the church and take the church to the community. Reaching out to Irmo and its surrounding areas with the good news of salvation, healing and deliverance in Jesus’ name.
Be A Habitation
We desire to be a place of habitation for the Spirit of God to move as He pleases.
